Anne Kirk Textiles is a San Francisco textile studio producing hand screen-printed and woven fabrics for interior design. As the studio grew, it needed a rebrand that reflected the craft behind each collection and positioned it confidently in the premium interiors market, for designers, architects and design-literate clients alike. The identity takes its cues from the textiles themselves: texture, weave and the slow, deliberate way each fabric is made. A muted palette stays quiet so the fabrics lead.

Alongside the visual identity, we developed a brand voice grounded in respect for craftsmanship: calm, knowledgeable and free of hype, with room to talk about process and materials with warmth.

Visual Identity, Brand Strategy

The Mark

The mark is drawn from woven thread, with overlapping vertical and horizontal lines that reference the structure and movement of Anne’s fabrics. Each line carries a slight flare, adding the natural variation of a handmade textile and echoing the flares in the wordmark. Built on a square base, it stays balanced and scalable while still feeling organic and tactile.

Visual World

Image direction centers on texture and process. Close-ups of weave and fiber, fabrics shown in real interiors, and behind-the-scenes moments of the founder and team at work bring a human element to the brand. Soft natural light, warm undertones and low contrast keep the images quiet and observational, avoiding the glossy, overly polished look of commercial product photography.
