Installation and Usage

Buyer is required to have a Wix Studio account to use the template. DIY templates will be transferred to the buyer's Wix Studio account email within 72 hours following the completion of the purchase. Semi-custom templates will be transferred to the buyer 1 week following the completion of the purchase. Note: Semi-custom templates are subject to longer delivery times dependent on time taken to receive buyers site information. Any delays will be communicated with the buyer. 

 

Copyright and License Information

The purchase of a template grants the buyer a license to use it for the creation of one website only, within their Wix Studio account. The template must not be resold, duplicated, or distributed in any form. The templates created and sold by Studio Miyabi are protected under copyright law and are intended for exclusive sale by Studio Miyabi. The template is to be used solely to create a personal or commercial website by the buyer. Any photographs used within the template are for illustrative purposes and remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Studio Miyabi reserves the right to feature the buyer's finished website design in its promotional materials. However, any confidential information or personal data will not be disclosed without explicit consent from the buyer. In cases where the template is used for client projects or compensated work, the buyer must acknowledge and credit Studio Miyabi with a live hyperlink to our website, (www.studiomiyabi.com) failing which may constitute a breach of copyright.

 

Exclusions from Purchase

• The purchase does not include a Wix Studio plan or domain/domain connection.

• Images and fonts on the demo site are not part of the sale.

• DIY templates do not include customisation; Adding content to the template is the buyer's responsibility.

• Wix Studio tutorial is not included.

• Social Media Connection and integration services are not included.

• Copywriting or content creation is not included.

• Payment setup or configuration services are excluded.

• Email marketing setup or configuration is not provided.

• Ongoing website maintenance or support is not included after the 1 week support period has passed. 

• Font licenses or image licenses are not part of the template purchase.

• General website maintenance services are not included.

Support and Assistance

Following the transfer of the template, Studio Miyabi will offer 1 week of on-going support. After this period, service obligations are considered complete. The buyer is responsible for the maintenance, update, and management of their website using the template. Studio Miyabi advises keeping a backup of the template to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.

Customisation for DIY Templates

Upon receipt of the template, the buyer is responsible for adding their unique content, text, images, and other brand elements to customise the template pages. Studio Miyabi will not be responsible for any alterations, customisations, or additions made to the template after transfer. Studio Miyabi is not obligated to transfer the template again if changes or deletions are made by the buyer. Studio Miyabi advises keeping a backup of the template to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.

Customisation for Semi-Custom Templates

Upon purchase of a semi-custom template, Studio Miyabi will provide guidelines on the information we need from the buyer in order to customise the template. We will also provide instructions on how to provide this. Customisation of the template is limited to the information that we request;

• Business contact, location and store information

• Logo

• Color Palette

• Typography

• Images sitewide

• Copy sitewide

• 30 product pages 

• Policy pages

Customisation outside of this is the responsibility of the buyer. Providing the requested information is the responsibility of the buyer and failure to provide the information may result in delays or the inability to customise certain parts of the template.

Permission to Use Pre-written Copy

Upon purchasing the template from Studio Miyabi, you receive the right to modify, edit, or change the provided text content. While Studio Miyabi provides example copy within templates, we encourage you to use this as inspiration for creating unique content. The responsibility to edit or modify the copy lies with you after the purchase. Studio Miyabi will not assist in these modifications. Please be aware that other buyers may also use the same example copy.

 

Customisation for DIY Templates
Studio Miyabi rigorously tests the templates on various modern web browsers to ensure compatibility. However, due to the vast number of browsers and versions, it is not feasible to guarantee flawless functionality across every browser. Some features in our templates may not operate optimally in certain browsers. Studio Miyabi cannot be held liable for issues arising from unsupported code or features in different web browsers.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the digital nature of the website template, all sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be provided under any circumstances.
